OT Introduction II: Old Testament Survey

Course Features:
This course, along with OT Introduction I, serves as a general introduction of the Old Testament's inspiration, text, canon, chronology, and historical setting. This course will function as a survey of the essential facts about each book, its contribution to redemptive revelation, and any special problems of interpretation associated with the book.

Dr. Michael Barrett

Dr. Michael P. V. Barrett is a professor of various Old Testament courses at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary (PRTS) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He earned his doc­tor­ate in Old Tes­ta­ment Text with a spe­cial focus on Semitic lan­guages. He is a mem­ber of the Evan­gel­i­cal The­o­log­i­cal Soci­ety and has pub­lished books, such as Beginning at Moses, The Gospel of Exodus, and Complete in Him. He contributed to and served as Old Testament editor for The Reformation Heritage KJV Study Bible.
